Panama, a Central American nation connecting North and South America, is home to about 4.4–4.6 million people. The country’s spiritual heritage is strongly shaped by Christianity, with Roman Catholicism historically recognized as the dominant faith tradition alongside growing evangelical Protestant communities. Known globally for the Panama Canal and its strategic international influence, Panama holds a unique position as a bridge between cultures, economies, and nations — a place where the Gospel can flow outward to many regions of the world.

The words of Psalm 67 echo Panama’s calling — that God’s salvation would be known among all nations. As believers grow in faith and unity, the Church hast he opportunity to reflect Christ’s love through mission, discipleship, and compassionate service across society.
